What are the steps from diagnosis to install?
Lula diagnoses the system and confirms a replacement is needed.
The job is assigned to you — with no fees taken from your labor cost.
You receive the full system work-up (diagnosis, sizing, layout, and more) so no pre-trip is required.
A flat-rate labor agreement is set for the install (condenser, A-coil, furnace, and so on).
Lula orders and prepays for equipment and parts — a PO is ready for pickup near the job or your HQ.
Your team completes the installation the next day.
How do I start receiving these jobs?
Complete the HVAC Replacements sign-up form. You will set your flat rates as part of the form, and the Lula team will follow up to get you into the assignment rotation.
Do I need to do a pre-trip before the install?
No. You receive the full system work-up up front — diagnosis, sizing, and layout — so you can arrive ready to install.
Who pays for the equipment?
Lula does. Lula orders and prepays for the equipment and parts, and a PO is ready for pickup near the job or your HQ. You never front the cost of the unit.
What equipment does Lula provide?
Lula provides the equipment including the condenser, air handler, furnace, coil, and heat kit.
💰 Pricing Guidelines
The more competitively priced you are, the more volume you will receive.
What are the average flat rates?
$1,500 average — full system replacement
$800 average — furnace only
What should my flat rate include?
Because Lula supplies the equipment, your flat rate should cover the labor to get it installed and the old system removed:
Pickup, installation, and haul-away
Lineset blowout
Flue adjustments
Plenum adjustments
Conduit (electrical) adjustments
Furnace installs located in the attic
📋 NTE (Not-To-Exceed) Expectations
What if the job needs more than the agreed amount?
You have a $100.00 NTE for miscellaneous materials. If unforeseen circumstances arise, such as extensive duct modifications needed, you can request approval in the app. Getting approval before you proceed keeps the job moving and protects your payout.
Can I mark up parts?
No markup on parts cost. Parts are billed at cost.

Can I pull the permit myself?
Permitting is handled for you at no cost through Lula's partnership with PermitFlow. See Lula x PermitFlow Partnership for how that works.
Is a labor warranty required?
Yes — a 1-year labor warranty is required on all HVAC replacement installs.
