Lula reimburses 100% of job-specific materials that are purchased and used exclusively for the work order.
How to Submit Materials
When closing out a job in the app, you’ll see a Materials section where you can add any parts or supplies purchased for that job.
Approved material costs are added to the labor total to automatically generate the final invoice—no separate billing required.
What Is Reimbursable
Lula reimburses only the materials that were:
Purchased specifically for the job
Installed or fully used on that work order
Clearly documented during job close-out
Examples include replacement parts, fixtures, or components required to complete the repair.
What Is Not Reimbursable
Lula does not reimburse for:
Standard consumables or contractor stock, including:
Full boxes of screws or fasteners
Full bottles/tubes of adhesive, caulk, glue, or sealants
Bulk materials where unused quantities remain in your inventory
Tools or equipment, even if purchased for a specific job, such as:
Hand tools (hammers, wrenches, drill bits)
Specialty tools (repin kits, cable machines, augers, etc.)
These items should be factored into your hourly or flat labor rate, not submitted as materials.
