Some jobs list more than one issue. Every issue has to be saved before you can tap Get Approval, and an issue can't be saved without notes, before photos and a service. If one of the issues isn't actually there when you arrive, close it with Unable to Complete instead of diagnosing it.
đ When to Use Unable to Complete
The issue isn't at the property
Example: the job lists damaged cabinets and a leaking sink, but the cabinets are fine. Close the cabinet issue and keep working on the sink.
The fix is already covered by another issue on the job
If two issues describe the same problem, diagnose it once and close the duplicate.
Don't use it to skip work you can do
If the problem is there, diagnose it, add your services and submit for approval as usual. Read more about the Flat Rate job flow here
đ§Ÿ Issues vs. the Job Description
Issues may not always match the job description
The Issues in the app may not line up exactly with the issues written in the job description. Diagnose what you actually find on site.
Add multiple repairs under one issue
You can select multiple repair services under each issue, or add a Custom Service if no catalog service fits.
Quantities are coming soon
Selecting quantities for a service will be available soon.
đ± How to Close the Issue
1. Open the issue from the Issues list on the job details screen.
2. Tap Unable to Complete at the bottom of the issue screen, next to Save Issue.
3. Read the note. Marking the issue Unable to Complete removes any diagnosis notes, before photos and selected services on that issue, since the work was never performed.
4. Choose a reason: Resolved under another issue, Issue not found, or Other.
5. Tap Confirm. The issue now shows Unable to Complete on the job details screen.
6. Finish the job. Diagnose and save the remaining issues, then tap Get Approval as usual.
đ€© Bonus Tip: Closed the wrong issue? Open it and tap Reopen Issue to start again. You'll need to re-add your notes, photos and services.
â Which reason should I pick?
Reason | Use it when |
Issue not found | The problem isn't at the property. |
Resolved under another issue | The fix is already covered by a different issue on this job. |
Other | Any other reason you can't complete the issue. |
* Not sure which to pick? Contact the Provider Success team before closing the issue.
