A Custom Service is a free-text field where you can enter a description, your labor amount, and any materials for work that doesn't exist in the flat-rate catalog. It functions like a quote.
Only use Custom Service if a flat-rate option truly doesn't exist. If you submit a custom service and a flat-rate option does exist for that work, Lula may convert it back to keep pricing consistent.
Keep in mind: unlike flat-rate catalog services, custom services are subject to a 12% Lula fee deducted from your payout. Custom services are also subject to additional pricing reviews (beyond the onsite approval) conducted after the job is completed, and all notes are submitted.
