No Upfront Cost to Join
There is no cost to sign up and no subscription or monthly fees. You can complete the application and begin receiving job opportunities without paying anything upfront.
One-Time Background Check Fee
Lula requires all Pros to pass a background check. The background check fee is one-time only and is not charged until after you complete your first job. This allows you to start working with Lula before paying any out-of-pocket costs.
Flat Percentage Fee on Completed Work
Lula charges a flat percentage fee on completed jobs. This fee is deducted from the final job amount and covers:
Job scheduling and dispatch
Customer communication and coordination
Payment processing
Access to the Lula Pro app and support team
There are no per-lead fees, bidding costs, or hidden charges. If you don’t complete a job, you don’t pay a fee.
Avoidable Fees
In limited situations, small fees may apply for actions such as canceling a job on the same day or failing to show up for a scheduled appointment. These fees exist to protect customer experience and scheduling reliability and are fully avoidable by:
Accepting only jobs you can commit to
Communicating early if a schedule change is needed
Arriving on time and completing accepted appointments
Lula is built to reward reliable Pros, and most contractors never incur these fees.
