What do I do if the resident is not answering/not home?

There are a few scenarios where you might have issues gaining access to the home. Here are a few of them and what to do:

Resident is not home/answering the door

If you arrive and no one is home (or not answering the door), please give our Pro Support line a call (913-444-9293 ext 2). Sometimes the resident is sleeping or able to provide an alternative type of access. If we don’t have any luck, please follow one of the two next steps:

1) If you are working on an approved quote or flat-priced job, please take a picture of the front of the home and pause the job with the reason, "resident not home", and provide your next return date.

2) If you are working on an hourly job, please take a picture of the front of the home and close the job with the picture of the home and any documented attempts to reach the resident. This will help us process the trip fee the fastest.

Lockbox is missing/Code isn’t working

If the job has an entry code, then no one needs to be home for you to enter. There are occasions where lockboxes go missing or codes get mixed up. If that happens, please call us at 913-444-9293 and let us know. We will work with you to get you into the home or pay a trip fee if necessary.

In both cases, please call us before leaving the property. Along with a call, take a picture of the front of the house to document the trip. It will help us process the trip fee and get you paid for the wasted trip.

📸 Before You Leave the Property

Regardless of the situation:

  • Call us first before leaving.

  • Take a clear photo of the front of the home to document your trip.

    • This helps us verify your visit and process your trip fee quickly.
